If you’re reading this it means the WordPress ad was correct and I now have a blog.

Primarily the purpose of this page will be for me to share the cognitive ‘bleeps’ and ‘bloops’ that come into and out of my head in my daily practice.

Currently, that practice takes place in a busy Australian Emergency Department. Through my time in ED, I have developed a keen interest in practical critical care and the pragmatic application of the various principles related to the care of sick patients.

While many high-quality resources can be found around the web relating to resuscitation from a medical point-of-view, this blog will have a decidedly ‘Nursecentric’ twist.

This Blog will in no way try to reinvent the wheel; instead, my posts will aim to communicate my thoughts on things that matter to me. All opinions expressed in this blog are mine alone unless they are explicitly attributed to someone else with a bigger brain.

In the weeks, months and years to come, I hope this can become a place where we can challenge and learn from one another in the spirit of becoming more capable and passionate as resuscitation nurses.

Welcome to my resus scrapbook.
